villa: Elegant has a private oversized 370 sq ft pool ranging in depth from 3ft to 6ft.  The pool and deck is screened to keep out bugs and provide adequate space to soak up the sun in a tranquil setting.  The garden and pool are fenced, very private, not overlooked and have no other properties backing onto the rear.  The pool has steps with a hand-rail and a shelf-seat to cool down Floridian style.  For guests and small children who require protection from the sun, a large covered lanai with table and padded reclining chairs is alongside. 

Unlike many villa communities, Indian Wells has a large gated community pool for use by guests and residents only.  Changing rooms are alongside and the keys for the pool and tennis courts can be obtained from our Management Company.

As a single storey house and with the pool towards the rear of the garden, it attracts the sun from early morning through to early evening.  With the evening sun lighting-up the lanai, this makes a great time to relax with drinks.  For relaxation out of the water, you will find ample padded sun beds, reclining padded chairs and table for dining al-fresco.  Sun-worshippers will find an extended patio alongside the pool for all-day-long sunbathing.  

Make the most of the warm Floridian evenings by switching on the pool light and bringing out the barbecue.  We provide the easiest barbecue-grill going - an electric plug in version.  With no charcoals to light, no scrapping and easy cleaning afterwards, cooking is straightforward.  The grill can be used under the lanai.  Simply plug in, add burgers, steaks or kebabs.. and enjoy with an ice cold beer.

To avoid damage to the protective coating on the pool deck, other barbecues with charcoal bricks must only be used outside of the screened area.

During the cooler months of October to April, electric pool heating can be taken at a pre-paid additional charge of £95/US$150 per week.  Pool heating is not required for the summer months.  Should you decide to take pool heating only after arriving at the villa, payment can be made direct to our Management Company at their current US$ rate.   Pool heating must be taken for a minimum of 5 consecutive days.  

When activated, heating is operational for at least 8 hours a day from morning to early evening and should heat the water to a temperature in the range 82ºF to 86ºF .  Although the temperature of the water will remain relatively constant within the range quoted, it may feel warmer or cooler on consecutive days due to atmospheric conditions and the ambient air temperature.  On occasions where the air temperature is very low, this could result in cooler water temperatures.  If you prefer to swim into the evening, please contact us to request that the operational times be moved to later in the day.
